Is this a positive or negative “holy shit”?

Some of it is pretty cool, some of it makes stancing make sense and then there’s the guy in pic 1. Crazy times indeed

It’s a look that needs to come back in full force. Nothing else is quite as cool IMO.

Am I the only one who thinks it’d be cool to see some of this stuff make a return?

But I was told that nobody had fun with cars in the malaise era! The cars were all horribly underpowered and nobody ever modified them! Seriously though, see all of those cars with the rears ends jacked up insanely high? That’s why stance only makes me sigh and shake my head. We were just as stupid when we were young.

No. I’ve been aching to see this stuff return.

I like the look. Plus, it DID serve a purpose, unlike stance.

When we (the young and moneyless) did it we used air shocks and the rear suspension had zero compliance. The things rode like ox carts, not to mention the weight was on the shock mounts instead of the springs. Also, precious few bothered to adjust the headlights so they pointed straight down.

The Camaro has air shocks. It rides rough, but to me that’s just part of the experience of an old car. I still like the look.

My Camaro still had air shocks on it when I bought it which is why the top shock mounts had to be fixed. Of course I replaced the worn out rear springs with ones with a lift because it does look cool that way. Now I just need to get the front a little lower...
